On September 27th, SAVA is celebrating 16 years of service at their 8th annual black-tie Soiree. It is one of the largest events in Northern Colorado and has sold-out with 800 people over the last couple of years. They are expanding the event to better serve our community this year with up to 1,000 individuals, which means they are opening up the event to new sponsors. They would love to have additional businesses from Greeley sponsor a table or donate gift cards or items from their businesses for their auction at the event. Funds generated through this event will help to provide free and sliding scale therapy to the more than 1,000 victims of sexual assault we serve annually and will provide sexual assault prevention education to the 5,000 youth that we reach every year. SAVA would be honored to have your company represented as a contributor at the Soiree event and recognized as a community leader in helping to end sexual assault in Northern Colorado.
Dorothy has shared their brochure, so if anyone is interested please reach out to Dorothy Farrel, SAVA E.D., 970-775-2962 or dorothy@savacenter.org with your questions and support!
From Dorothy – Dear Community Partner:
Sexual Assault Victim Advocate (SAVA) Center provides counseling and therapy services, a 24 Rape Crisis Hotline, community outreach, and prevention education to Larimer and Weld County. We have been very busy over the past year as the demand for our services continues to expand. We have seen a 200% increase in our prevention services over the past year and a 37% increase in our direct care services over the past two years. We are looking to expand our fundraising events over the next year to assist us with meeting this increase in need for vital service and we are hopeful you will assist us in tackling sexual violence within our community.
