Through past years, we’ve raised a commendable $30,019 from our Sister to Sister/Pay it Forward philanthropy program. The money raised is donated to impact the work of a different designated local nonprofit each month.

Member Spotlight: Brittany Schmeeckle

Brittany Schmeeckle is the Community Engagement Manager at Weld Food Bank, where she is dedicated to building meaningful connections that strengthen community and combat food insecurity. With a background in nonprofit leadership and a degree in Business Management, Brittany has committed her career to serving others and creating environments where people feel valued, included and inspired to make a difference.

In her previous role as Volunteer Manager, Brittany doubled the organization’s volunteer base by implementing streamlined systems, enhancing communication strategies, and cultivating a culture where every individual feels seen and appreciated. Her work has helped transform volunteer engagement into a powerful gateway for deeper community involvement empowering retirees, students, individuals with special needs, and corporate partners alike to find purpose and connection through service. She has also played a key role in expanding event fundraising efforts, increasing the organization’s reach and impact across the region.
