Don’t miss the November 5th Northern Colorado Women in Business Workshop at the Rush Event Center in Evans from 7:45=10 a.m. when…

Christine Thomas, CPCC, ORSCC – Personal Life Coach for Women…

will help us accept and understand that Chaos and Overwhelm are here to stay. And for those of us with big hearts and big visions and high goals, finding ways to thrive through chaos is the ticket to our success.

Registration for this fabulous, insightful Workshop is $38 online for Members and $48 for Guests. Online registration closes on Monday, Oct. 27th at Midnight.

We live in chaotic and often overwhelming times! So, it’s completely understandable for us to feel, at least some of the time, the pressure of all that’s going on around us and within us. And for us as women, we were already at the top of the busy register before the chaos got amped up even more!

          Yes, we are quite capable and well experienced in dealing with chaos and overwhelming situations. We are really good at surviving and getting things done. Let’s take some time today to explore new, maybe even radical, ways to do more than survive. Let’s find ways to thrive through chaos, because, spoiler alert – overwhelming change and the chaos that comes with it is here to stay.

Three key points you will gain and take away following this interactive presentation:
 It’s not just you – there is a lot of chaos that can be overwhelming right now, in the world at large and in some of the seasons of our individual lives. So, don’t blame yourself!
Even though it’s not just you, there is no self -blame, it does become up to you to handle what the world and life throws at you. It’s time to explore new ways of doing this because many of your old strategies and perspectives don’t work anymore.
Fortunately, there are many tools to help you get out of simply surviving and more into thriving in the chaotic times that are here to stay. You’ll walk away with at least 3 tools today.

Details to ponder…

1. We have to step back to get a broader view of conditions that feel chaotic and overwhelming. It’s not that we are wrong or incapable because we are working smart and hard. We have to get out of old paradigm practices for addressing the new paradigm situations we are in.

2. Our really, really hard work requires us to create sustainability in our personal lives which often pushes us to get past the

        self-judging inner critic or imposter syndrome or people pleasing.

We have to get more deeply connected with our own wisdom and strengths to see through illusions, amped-up fear and gaslighting.

3. There are many tools for this, and today I’ll share 3 with you:

* The Yes/No coin.   {Christine will be drawing and giving a few YES / No coins away}
          * Locus of Control practice – check-out the worksheet!
          * C+ Effort.

Get to know our warm and gifted Speaker: Christine Thomas (told from her voice)…

“I’m a Certified Professional Personal Life Coach for Women (CPCC) and for Relationships (ORSCC) with over 20 years of experience being fortunate enough to do what I love – helping brilliant women, their families and their work teams to thrive.

“I have owned another successful small business, been a marketing director, trainer, director of operations and a consultant. I have worked with a wide range of managers, directors of non-profits and small business owners, gaining practical, solution-based approaches to the array of challenges that managing people and resources presents.

“My dad was in the US Air Force so I lived all over the country while growing up – and I have a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, military families. I graduated from the University of Nebraska (Go Big Red!) where my studies got me doing an internship with the Forest Service in Colorado. After living all over, I found my heart’s home in our gorgeous state of Colorado where I have now lived for decades, with my sweet husband, Michael.

“For over a decade I was a volunteer at the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program, taking care of wounded birds of prey. You’re likely to find me outside looking up at birds and stars or looking down with my hands in the dirt and wild weeds or in deep conversation with my beloved friends, clients and family. I’d love to chat with you, too!”

NOTE: Northern Colorado Women in Business is celebrating the Launch of their NEW and Improved Web Site and for the month of October, all NEW MEMBERS will receive a 10% Discount when you join.

She will be collecting monies donated through our free-will giving ( in $5 increments) to help the Weld Food Bank (WFB) feed the hungry as we drift into the holiday season. Your donation will Help the WFB Bridge the Gap in Weld County!! The need for food assistance is higher than ever. Cuts to SNAP and Medicaid have left many families and seniors without vital support, and what were once “busy days” are now the WFB’s daily reality. They are now serving nearly 1,700 people every day — more than five times the number before the pandemic — and their resources are stretched thin. Your support helps keep shelves stocked, trucks on the road and nourishing meals on the table for our neighbors. Together, we can bridge the gap and ensure no one in Weld County goes hungry.
The Senior Feeding Program serves seniors over 60 years of age, it is in high demand. This program, includes the USDA program Everyday Eats; which provides a monthly food package with various nutritional products including milk, fruit, vegetables, juice, and cereal, recipients will receive additional perishable products such as bakery goods, and protein. Anyone who is interested in joining the Senior Feeding Program must first meet with a member of their certification staff. Once approved, individuals will need to re-certify every year.
Your donation makes a difference! Here’s how it works: This is a Free-Will opportunity to donate $5 + 1 business card, or if you are passionate about the work this nonprofit accomplishes you can donate up to $20 and put 4 business cards in the drawing. It functions in $5 increments. At the end of the Workshop 1 business card is drawn and that person splits the pot with the identified monthly nonprofit organization we are supporting.
