Here’s a brief overview for Northern Colorado Women in Business regarding the impact on how our business and finances need to work together to gain success.

During Dayna’s program we will learn more about financial management and planning for the unexpected.

Dayna is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in Greeley, Colorado, where she works with individuals, families, and business owners to develop thoughtful, long-term financial strategies. She holds her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and takes a holistic approach to financial planning to help clients connect their financial decisions to the bigger picture of their lives, goals and values.

Three Key Points participants will take away from this presentation:

1 Wealth is more than a number
2 Small decisions today can create significant freedom tomorrow
3 Psychology of money breakthroughs

During Dayna’s program we will also learn more about wisely managing our money…Women participating will take away:

1. How to define what financial freedom means to you
2. Understand and challenge the psychology of money
3. Actionable steps to change the direction of your money today

Let’s get to know our Speaker:  Dayna Hazlewood!

Before entering the financial industry, Dayna earned her Doctorate in Optometry from Pacific University in Oregon and practiced as an optometrist, helping build and grow a private optometry practice in Omaha, Nebraska. Her experience as both a healthcare professional and business owner gives her a unique perspective on entrepreneurship. She understands firsthand the challenges of building a business, managing competing priorities, creating a team, and thinking beyond today toward what comes next.

Dayna often jokes that she has become a “financial optometrist,” using her background in vision to look at a client’s financial life through all of its different lenses: taxes, estate planning, insurance, investments, balance sheets, retirement, business planning. Each can tell a different part of your story, but the real value comes from bringing those pieces together to see the full picture clearly.

Her career has given her a unique perspective on two of the most important pillars of life: health and wealth—and the ways they often intersect. Dayna’s transition into the financial industry was inspired by her beautiful, wonderful and hardworking mom, who spent 26 years as a Financial Advisor and made a meaningful impact on both Dayna’s life and the lives of her clients. She has been able to spend a meaningful part of her life working alongside her mom on this journey.

Today, Dayna’s greatest “why” is the relationships she builds with her clients and their families. For Dayna, the most rewarding part of her career is earning the trust to be that first call through the good and the bad times and walking alongside clients as they navigate their financial lives, celebrate their successes, and plan for what matters most. Driven by one of her favorite quotes: “We are all walking each other home.”

When she’s not helping clients navigate the many seasons of life, Dayna is usually making the most of her own with her husband, Justin, and their two sons – Beau and Liam (her most precious boys that I adore! kh).

She loves all things Colorado – getting outside for hiking, biking, skiing, and exploring with her family. She is always up for live music, a good community event, or cheering on her favorite teams, the Broncos and Wyoming Cowboys. Dayna is passionate about her community and serves on the board of the Women’s Fund of Weld County, where she enjoys helping support organizations and initiatives that make a meaningful difference for women and families in Weld County. At the end of the day, Dayna’s favorite role is simply being a wife, mom, friend, and member of her community.
