Amie Cieminski has worked in public education for over 30 years. She served as a Spanish teacher, middle school assistant principal, elementary school principal, and school district administrator. Dr. Cieminski earned her doctorate in educational leadership in 2015 and began her second career as an educational leadership professor at the University of Northern Colorado. She teaches educators who aspire to be school principals and superintendents. Amie has excelled as a school principal, professional trainer, leadership professor, writer, and leader in several multi-generational organizations. Throughout her life, Dr. Cieminski has been a leader in several volunteer organizations. She has been a church council president, chapter president for Delta Kappa Gamma, and section leader in The Greeley Chorale. She uses her knowledge of different generations to reach across the generational divides and bring people together to accomplish their goals.

Over the last seven years, Amie has been involved with Youth Empowerment Group, a local non-profit, dedicated to healthy youth development through the creation and dissemination of two life skills curriculum, PowerUp and PowerUp Girls for Life. Amie is a founding member of the Youth Empowerment leadership team and leads their research efforts to ensure that the organization’s lessons are meeting the needs of today’s youth and the educators who are delivering the lessons. Amie has lived in Minnesota, California, and Colorado. She has been married to RJ Cieminski for 34 years, has two adult children (Mitch, 28 and Courtney, 26), and loves skiing, gardening, singing, traveling, and crafting.
