About
Kristi Helzer has enjoyed an extensive career as your marketing partner in providing creative solutions to meet your business needs while gaining visibility and market-share for her clients. She promotes your business, product, event, and your image-to maximize exposure and increase your bottom line. Kristi is the President & Facilitator of Northern Colorado Women in Business, which she launched in January of 2009 and has upward to 1,500 Northern Colorado Front Range members. She believes the most important aspect of building relationships is listening and being "other-focused!" She says her 'magical power' is "listening between the lines" and understanding what is said, as well as what is felt and implied. Besides operating her Marketing/Communications business she has served as the Community Outreach and Education Coordinator for the West Greeley Conservation District; Northern Colorado Community Relations Representative for Noble Energy Inc.(now Chevron), a Relationship-building Customer Service rep for Morgan Stanley, as the Marketing/Community Relations Director for the Weld Library District (now High Plains) and had the honor of being the first Marketing/Communication Director for United Way of Weld County. She also taught communications classes at AIMS Community College supervising the production of a student newspaper and inter college campus cable television program. She enjoyed working in media at KMGH-TV in the Denver market, for KFKA-1310 & KFKZ Radio in Greeley/Weld, plus being a Stringer writing for several Weld newspapers and magazines, while at UWWC she had a weekly Success by Six column for parents of young children. She believes in giving back and has over 40 years of active community service in Northern Colorado. Making her home here has brought her great joy, according to Kristi, "There is nowhere else on the planet where you can find such kind, caring and generous people as in Weld County!" I am blessed to know incredible people...like the women I serve through NorCoWIB!
