[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Through these challenging times, since March, it is good to know that our School district is under the leadership of competent professionals who are concerned with safety while continuing to educate the 23,000 children enrolled in Greeley/Evans School District 6. Let’s find out what “school“ will look like this academic year.” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%23000000″ use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_column_text]

Dr. Deirdre Pilch, Superintendent of Schools and Theresa Myers, Chief of Communications from Greeley-Evans School District 6

Superintendent Dr. Deirdre Pilch and Chief of Communications Theresa Myers will present information about the District’s response to COVID-19, an update on the start of the 2020-2021 school year, and how bond projects are moving ahead. This includes the replacement of Greeley West High School, the renovation of McAuliffe STEM Academy, and more. Theresa Myers will also present a general update on District 6 and the projects and programs being funded through the mill levy override.

You asked to hear from our local school district so bring your questions and listening skills and prepare to be better informed! This is our chance to learn about the challenges educators and youth are facing while also celebrating the exciting successes our students are experiencing.

If you have been blessed with the opportunity to hear Dr. Pilch speak, you know she is no sissy! She has backbone and determination to face the things life presents and she does it with a smile on her face and a bounce in her step. Deirdre is a popular speaker, much in demand by this body of women! Many of us are mothers and grandmothers, we employ people with children and keeping up with what is happening inside our classrooms is important to us.

Come and learn how your tax dollars are being managed to enhance the learning within the District at every level. Maybe we will even get a quick peek at the new construction plans at GWHS, my former high school![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

During this WORKshop you will learn…

You will discover information about a variety of programs the District has implemented to further ensure student success.

1. The efforts that have been made and will continue to keep students and staff safe while continuing education for 23,000 students in District 6.

2. How COVID-19 brought about lasting change to K-12 education.

3. Bond projects that are moving ahead thanks to voters of Greeley and Evans.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Meet The Lovely Speakers” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_column_text]
