[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”When COVID-19 hit we were all forced to turn the page to a new chapter to survive all the challenges businesses are facing. The NEW Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO was in her seventh month when all this uncharted calamity hit. Come discover the collaborative LEADERSHIP she has had a key role in implementing!” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%23000000″ use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_custom_heading text=”Speaker: Jaime Henning, CCE – President & CEO of the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce,

Greeley Area Chamber Foundation” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_column_text]Jaime Henning proudly stepped into the leadership role as President and CEO of the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce in September 2019, six months before COVID-19 temporarily shut down and altered the operations of businesses across the state, nation and world.

She has nearly completed serving her first year in this leadership role and she is going to reflect on lessons learned and why she is more optimistic than ever about the future of Greeley.

Henning is excited to be a Greeley leader, helping steward a 100-year organization in its next chapter and helping businesses through some tough times with her work on advocacy, marketing and the latest collaborative that has evolved from the Pandemic, the Greeley Area Recovery Fund.

While the Chamber was on lock-down, like most of our businesses, their very small and efficient staff was working from home, facilitating Zoom Committee meetings, and Jaime was hosting virtual coffee discussions with city and county leaders to work through complicated challenges and encourage Chamber investors to hang-on and continue to stay positive during this period in our history.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

During this WORKshop you will learn…

1) Why Collaboration over competition is critical now more than ever locally, regionally and nationally
2) Lessons learned in Jaime’s first year and how boards can drive thought leadership with the creation of the Greeley Area Recovery Fund
3) Why fresh perspective has proven a critical advantage and how the Chamber is taking a fresh approach during these challenging times[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Meet Jaime Henning, CCE – President & CEO of the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce,
Visit Greeley and the Greeley Area Chamber Foundation” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_column_text]Northern Colorado Women in Business is pleased to welcome, Jaime Henning, our relatively new President and Chief Executive Officer of The Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce, Visit Greeley and the Greeley Area Chamber Foundation.

Jaime is a native of Nebraska, a Cornhusker – but don’t hold it against her.
She is from Fairbury, a small town of 4,000 people. A community known
for its red hot dogs sold in Memorial Stadium.

She grew up on a farm, in a town where her Grandfather owned the local gas station and elevator and served as the Senior Director for the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce where she worked for 18 years after receiving her degree in Corporate Communications and Public Relations.

Her most proud accomplishments are serving:
– to train over 100 other Chamber Executives,
– on the U.S. Chamber and American Chamber of Commerce Executives Boards, – to lead Lincoln’s Young Professionals group of over 1,800 members
(one of the largest in the nation)
– to become one of only two Certified Chamber Executives in the State of Nebraska,
– to help launch a new city brand
– to organize major national events, and she helped their community achieve a Guinness World Record.
