Founder, Create Your Life Events
Broker Associate, RE/MAX Advanced, Inc.” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_column_text]Sarah has embraced  numerous forms of art ever since she was a tiny girl! She confessed that her first creative masterpiece involved Play Doh!

A favorite quote she features on her web site by Pablo Picasso states:

“EVERY CHILD IS AN ARTIST. THE PROBLEM IS HOW TO REMAIN AN ARTIST ONCE WE GROW UP.”

We all need to find BALANCE in this wonderful world. We work hard taking care of our business. Nurturing our family members and caring for friends. Come join Sarah for a few moments of creative inquiry to reset your compass, refresh your outlook, and refocus your action in 2022.  NorCoWIB members asked, “Is there really a way to live a balanced LIFE?”

It’s Valentine’s month, let’s learn how to love ourselves better by giving that little girl inside of you permission to come out and PLAY and get creative!

Sarah’s services include:

  • The Young Masters Art Gallery
  • Group Playshops that focus on personal growth and empowerment
  • Individual one-on-one Playshop sessions using creative experiences to dig deep
  • Holiday Gift Fairs promoting Northern Colorado artisans

  • Learn to give yourself permission to have some FUN!

[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Meet Sarah Bennett” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_column_text]After growing up in a small Kansas town, and completing her undergraduate work in Florida and Iowa, Sarah arrived in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1978.

Her Journey: Beginning in 1980, she had the opportunity to work at several banks and mortgage companies in northern Colorado, starting as a bank teller, later working in collections and consumer lending, and eventually closing and originating mortgage loans.

On Sept. 11th, 2001, she was studying for her real estate licensing exam when her  attention was turned to the Twin Towers tragedy in New York City. Watching that historic tragedy left the world numb, but she had to move forward.

A few weeks later, she arrived at RE/MAX Advanced, real estate license in hand, where a couple seasoned agents strongly suggested she return to mortgage lending before it was too late! She did not follow their advice.

Although a BA in Art with teaching certification may not seem like a direct path to a career in real estate; communications and creativity are strengths she brings to her real estate brokerage practice that has greatly benefitted her clients.

In 2015, she attended a retreat in Sedona presented by Julia Cameron, the author of The Artists Way. The experience helped her reconnect with her creativity on a larger scale.

A vision emerged to offer Playshops (not workshops) where others could reconnect with their creativity. She has presented Playshops to small and large groups for 6 years, and in 2021, she added one-on-one individual sessions to the services she offers.

She also enjoys photography, traveling, blog and journal writing, visiting art museums, and exploring life with her two sons and their families, which includes 7 grandchildren.

She says she is honored to join Northern Colorado Women in Business for a few minutes today to create and play.  The limited time frame offered during our Workshop will challenge Sarah – but her creativity will conquer the time limits to help you soar through this experience!
