Meet Christina Archuleta…
“Christina’s journey is one of incredible strength and transformation. Once trapped in an abusive marriage, she found herself weighed down by fear, shame, & a sense of powerlessness. That changed when she discovered martial arts. Initially seeking physical fitness, she instead uncovered her inner resilience, gaining confidence with every block & kick. The discipline and focus she developed in the dojo gave her the courage to break free and reclaim her life. Now a 2nd degree black belt and Expert Krav Maga instructor, Christina uses her experience to empower others, teaching self-defense and sharing her story to inspire strength, courage and hope.

Sister-to-Sister Pay-it-Forward: Will benefit Weld Women2Women (W2W) and be coordinated by Heather Ingersoll, Hometown Insurance.Ā Your Kind donations will go directly to supporting local women. This 501c3 nonprofit was started by member Kay Broderius in 2009, the same year Kristi launched NorCoWIB. With March being National Womenās History month recognizing women who made a difference throughout history ā we want to join that positive energy and help W2W with their Circle of Sisters Fundraising Luncheon & Silent Auction on Saturday, May 17th at the UNC Campus Commons. Your donation will help make a difference – at a critical time in a local woman’s life…when she has nowhere else to turn, and it rarely exceeds $750.Ā Hereās how it works: This is a Free-Will opportunity to donate $5 + 1 business card, or if you are passionate about the work this nonprofit accomplishes you can donate up to $20 and put 4 business cards in the drawing. It functions in $5 increments. At the end of the Workshop 1 business card is drawn and that person splits the pot with Weld W2W this monthās featured nonprofit organization.
