Create Successful Habits and Get into a Rhythm
March 6 @ 7:45 am - 10:00 am
$38.00Creating Habits and Routines , why some work and some Habits Don’t Stick!
Speaker name: Deanne Mulvihill, Grow To Be Great / Arbonne Consultant, former: Berthoud Area Chamber Executive Director, fitness Instructor and Coffee House Owner
Our Summer surveys requested guidance in developing organizational systems / team building / employee retention / career-life balance / self care, learning to prioritize ourselves / marketing tips / leadership skill building / personal growth / time management. Tune in and your will gather some helpful ideas that touch on these topics.
Deanne explains, “When I retired from being the Executive Director at the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce, my life changed from one of being extremely busy to COVID being isolated. I felt that I needed a new system to take me back into my Arbonne business world.
“I also felt that God led me to begin looking for new habits. This took me down a path of such joy that I just kept learning more. And, then I wanted to share what I learned with others. So I started speaking and sharing ideas to help others start moving their business in a forward direction.”
Recent Recognition:
Deanne was being honored for stepping in last year as the Interim Berthoud Executive Director who helped bridge the gap between the board running the Chamber to hiring a new Executive Director. She was also, nominated for Citizen of the Year.
The significant events during COVID affected my beliefs, attitudes and my habits which then affected reactions and new choices. Deanne will share how you can create new habits to be more productive. And ways to ditch bad habits that are holding you back!
Three key points our participants will gain and take away following this workshop are…
1) Three levels of behavioral change
2) The science of how habits work
3) A 9-Step Process about building habits that you can immediately implement
Deanne will have a form for NorCoWIB members to fill out. It will ask:
In what area they’d like to create a new habit.
When you turn in those forms, Deanne will use them to “draw” a door prize winner of the Journal:   “Reclaim: A Journey to Self- Discovery” by Brandi Babin

Sister-to-Sister Pay-it-Forward: Will benefit the Weld Food Bank (WFB) and be coordinated by Allison Dunning – Balloon Art by Merry Makers your $5 + 1 business card…or $15 + 3 business cards will benefit “One of the most efficient and impactful ways you can support Weld Food Bank and their direct service programs through a financial donation. They confidently assure us that for every $1 donated, WFB can provide 3 meals to families struggling with hunger in Weld County.”
SIDEBAR: One of our devoted and active members who responded to our end of 2023 survey request stated: “I want every member of NorCoWIB to develop the HABIT of VOLUNTEERING and reap the joys and satisfaction that HABIT returns to our overall health and well-being, while helping others!”
With that nudge AND with our Sister-to-Sister/Pay it Forward benefitting the Weld Food Bank (WFB) in March, I scheduled a NorCoWIB volunteer 2-hour evening work session for us on Thursday, March 14th from 5-7 p.m. We must have a minimum of 12 people – my goal is 20+ volunteers so I am counting on this TRIBE to help. Well behaved children 8 years and older can also participate, if you want to make it a family affair.
The WFB volunteer in-take process is to use this registration link: http://vhub.at/NorCoWIB
Each volunteer (regardless of age) must sign-in and create an account. Then share your contact info, sign a liability waiver (parents will sign for their child or children) and give an emergency contact. It goes very fast. Dress comfortably and wear close toed shoes. I hope you can participate and will help recruit people! The networking is marvelous and this adventure goes fast, especially when sharing it with people we want to get to know better! Thank You!
