[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Welcome back!! It’s been two long months since we gathered together on March 4th with B.C. At a time when COVID-19 has had us all quarantined and respecting social distancing it’s a good time to focus on Women’s Health. Megan and Alexia will touch on many of the interest areas you suggested from our survey last summer. They can’t cover the broad spectrum of all your interests, but they will share some fascinating insights from their vast experience that you will value. Cheyenne and Justine are eager to welcome us. We will spread out and I am asking you to arrive wearing masks. Once seated, you will be able to remove them to eat. We can hardly wait to get re-connected.” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%23000000″ use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_custom_heading text=”Speaker: Megan Salazar, RDN CSSD (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) – Replenish Nutrition, LLC and Dr. Alexia Inhulsen, CCSP, CACCP – Peake Wellness Center” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_column_text]

There is no denying how complex and individual our hormone system is; however, we have many options to help to restore balance to it. Dr. Alexia will be discussing what a ‘normal’ cycle looks like and how we get so off balance starting in our pre-teen years.  From fat to fiber, alcohol to sleep, Megan will identify what you need to know to decrease bloating and improve sleep with items you regularly have in your kitchen. Whether you are 22 or 82, you will walk away with one new habit to try.

Megan Salazar offers individual and group nutrition coaching through virtual meetings to help women get out of the revolving door of dieting.

She translates the overwhelming amount of nutritional data into nuggets of knowledge for each individual.

Her next group coaching program starts soon and is loaded with recipes, coaching, accountability, education, and challenges to keep you motivated and on track for success.

Dr. Alexia Peake Inhulsen has been helping women achieve radiantly healthy pregnancies for 10 years. She is one of the few chiropractors in the Northern Colorado area who is not only Webster and pediatric certified but also specializes in the Schaefer Protocol designed to achieve a healthier period in just 120 days.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

During this WORKshop you will learn…

1. The pain and many symptoms correlated with a woman’s life are not normal.
2. Foods to start eating more of to support hormonal balance and decreased symptoms.
3. What outcomes you can expect with the application of our tried and true methods.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Meet Megan Salazar, RDN CSSD (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) – Replenish Nutrition, LLC and
Dr. Alexia Inhulsen, CCSP, CACCP, Chiroparctor and Owner of Peake Wellness Center” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”ev_head”][vc_column_text]Megan Salazar is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is passionate about helping people feel better because she changed her nutrition to feel better more than 10 years ago. In 2007, after feeling lethargic, in pain, and not happy with her body’s performance, along with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, she changed her nutrition and fitness direction.

She found a passion for helping others to feel the same energy, mental clarity, and body love she felt and went back to school to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Combined with her first Bachelor’s in Psychology, she loves helping people find new ways of learning to love cooking and moving their bodies.

She has worked with individuals of all types for 8 years, but has found a special passion for women who are constantly dieting and helping them get out of that revolving door. While her three kids (ages 7, 4 and 1) don’t always appreciate her love of all things vegetables and her husband bemoans her nutritional intentions, they are happily fed and nourished.

When Megan isn’t cooking or baking, she loves singing to her kids, teaching them how to do kettlebell swings, going on walks with her 2 dogs, riding her bike, or watching movies with her high school sweetheart.

Dr. Alexia Inhulsen started helping women with their cycles while still in college. Since becoming a chiropractor she has become the leading expert in Northern Colorado on natural fertility and pregnancy techniques.

She is certified in the Webster technique, Sport, and Pediatric practices along with her extensive growing knowledge of the female cycle and overall women’s health.

Alexia graduated from UNC with a bachelor’s of science in biology and then from Parker University in Dallas, Texas with her doctorate in Chiropractic.

This devoted workaholic career woman found ‘Mister RIGHT’ and now is blessed to not only have a practice and patients she is passionate about helping,  she also has a beautiful family to go home to at the end of a busy and satisfying day to love and enjoy.

She resides in Greeley with her “hot” realtor husband, Brad, their beautiful one-year-old daughter, Millie Mae, plus five chickens in their backyard farm, and a really mean cat! Alexia and Brad spend time growing healthy food that contributes to their (mostly) healthy diet!            (Some editorializing in the section is courtesy of Kristi, better known as Momma K – so grin and know Alexia didn’t write all of this section!)
