Melissa Jensen serves as Executive Director of Centennial Area Health Education Center (CAHEC). CAHEC's mission is to improve health outcomes in northeastern Colorado by connecting existing and future health professionals and communities with resources and education. CAHEC was established in 1978 and serves 12 counties in northeastern Colorado. Some of their work includes hosting an annual national nurse educators conference, working with high schools to expose students to various healthcare careers, public health education initiatives and placing medical students in rural housing clinical rotations.
